This is not business as usual and we should be stepping up our game in our eagerness to do what is good and right.
The disciples, simple people just like you and me, were awash in a turbulent sea of confusion and uncertainty, fear and doubt.
Just as a shepherd cares for his sheep, Jesus, the Good Shepherd, cares for his flock, those who follow him.
It made me ask myself; How many times has Jesus walked right beside me, tried to talk to me, and I didn't even realize it?
Even though the two Marys had told them Jesus was going to see them in Galilee, they were filled with fear, apprehension and doubt.
My client had questions and needed someone to explain things to him, and truthfully answer his questions.
That's the good in Good Friday. As the thief on the cross was about to die, he turned to Christ for forgiveness, and Christ accepted him.
The people were jubilant because Jesus was bringing salvation. God had heard their cries. Maybe things would finally change.
Just because you've been saved and let Jesus into your life doesn't mean you can stop. There's always the possibility of a relapse.
