Services

Our services are somewhat informal where anything can happen. Dress is casual, i.e., “Northwest Formal”. Our music is a blend of traditional and contemporary. We really like to have different musical talent from the community provide music during worship. When the weather is warm we enjoy an occasional service in our outdoor chapel complete with a short message and lots of singing accompanied by guitars.

Children’s Sunday School

A Sunday School is offered for the children during the service.  The children attend the first part of the worship service to get an introduction into church practices. After the Children’s Sermon they are dismissed to go to their class.  At the close of the service the children are brought back in to participate in the Benediction and Dismissal. On the first Sunday of the month the children return to the sanctuary to participate in Communion.

Learning Circle

We have two small group Learning Circles where we study and discuss relevant topics.  Our Sunday Learning Circle starts at 8:45 a.m. and concludes at 9:30 a.m. in time to mix and mingle over coffee before worship.  Our other Learning Circle meets on Monday afternoon at 1:15 p.m. for about an hour where we hold a small class on a different topic than the one being conducted on Sunday morning.  The circles are very informal fostering a free flow of thought and discussion.
