God is depending upon us to be his foot soldiers standing tall on the front lines, defending the defenseless, and taking the fight to the oppressors.
Our salvation is something God wants and can do through his powerful, creative work in us, because he truly loves us.
Now my eyes have been opened to the plight of people struggling for their daily bread and fighting to keep a roof over their heads if they are fortunate enough to even have a roof.
God gives in abundance. He takes whatever we can offer him in time, ability, or resources and multiples its effectiveness beyond our wildest expectations.
This is the essence of spiritual transformation where our work in the world, in our community, becomes a Holy Act.
My life, as your pastor, is driven by this one question: If we closed our doors, if the lights went out, would anybody miss us?
