Life is not fair, and it wasn't meant to be that way. The sun rises on the evil and the good, just as it rains on the just and the unjust.
The message of this amazing encounter I that the gospel is for everyone, no matter of his or her race, social position, or past sins.
But when we don't know Christ, we make choices as though this life is all we have.
Saying "sorry" is not enough. We must move from regret and remorse to correction and action.
Christ operated on the principle that quality begets quantity, not vice versa, and that church leaders today need to recapture this principle.
